What this approach translates to in real life is a wide assortment of sizes, functions, and styles while ensuring each iteration maintains fundamental Chronomat design details such as bezel rider tabs, prominent onion-style crowns, wearable round cases, and easy-to-read baton indices and handsets. While some versions lean into the collection’s tool-watch roots, others push the design toward a more expressive, luxurious aesthetic. Featuring a gradient of blue, purple, and pink stones (suspiciously not specified as to what stones they are) introduces color in a way that’s noticeable but certainly not over-the-top extravagance. It’s really more about lively pigment than overt sparkle here. As with all shop replica Breitling Chronomat watches, the hallmark rider tabs are present, three of which include two stones, while the 12 o’clock one is set with a single rock. The touch of precious metals I mentioned before is found right here on the bezel, which is crafted from 18k white gold rather than the stainless steel used for the rest of the case.

Since I’m not on the “everything has to be made in-house to be legit” train, I think an exhibition caseback would have been nice to see the movement in action.

I could pick up two full steel Chronomat Automatic 36 (on a bracelet) models with that budget, and I’m not convinced that a smattering of diamonds on the dial, unnamed colorful gems on the bezel, and a blue alligator strap justify twice the price.
